Who is TerraCycle?

We specialise in recycling typically hard-to-recycle waste which is not processed by local councils, such as coffee capsules, oral care and cosmetic product packaging. You can find out more about what we do here.

We strive to Eliminate the Idea of Waste® through two main ways:

1. Free recycling programs

We partner with brands to create free recycling programs. The brands we work with sponsor the recycling of a particular type of waste, which lets you recycle items which would otherwise go to landfills.

By signing up to the free recycling programs, you can download free shipping labels to send your recycling to us, drop it off instore or at a public drop-off point, or set up a public drop-off point so that members of your community can drop their recycling off too, accumulating more items for us to recycle!

Most programs also offer TerraCycle points as a reward for sending recycling. You can redeem points as donations for schools, charities and non-profits. This way communities can not only help the environment, but can also support other causes they care about too! 

2. Zero Waste Boxes

We also offer Zero Waste Boxes, a complete and convenient solution which includes the processing, shipping and recycling of a particular type of waste that isn’t currently recycled through local council facilities.

The Zero Waste Boxes can be used to recycle over 70 different waste categories including all plastic packaging, personal protective equipment (PPE), disposable coffee cups and many more! They are convenient and easy to use, making them the perfect option for households, schools, businesses, manufacturing facilities and events looking to offset their impacts and lighten their footprint.
